To symbolize the beginning of Lent, today we celebrated Ash Wednesday. The children sang, said prayers, completed readings and of course received their ashes which had been blessed at 7:00am mass this morning. Thank you very much Mr Prunty and Siobhan who distributed the ashes to mark this special day in our Liturgical Calendar!😁
