Edina Trust Bulb Project
Primary 6 and 7 are going to have the opportunity to be part of a real science investigation - investigating the effect of the climate on the growth of the spring bulbs. On planting day (20th October) they along with other schools planted their own daffodil and crocus bulbs in a pot and an additional 20 daffodil bulbs directly in the ground at school. The young P6 and 7 scientists will now be responsible for recording the rainfall and temperature each school day until the end of the project (end of March). Pupils will watch their daffodils and crocuses grow and record when they flower, and the height of the plants when the flowers open.
